It is mainly suitable for cases such as bilateral fallopian tube obstruction, post-ectopic pregnancy surgery, endometriosis, ovulation disorders, immunological infertility, and unexplained infertility in females.
The second generation involves Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) technology. It is mainly suitable for cases of male oligozoospermia (low sperm count) and asthenozoospermia (poor sperm motility).
The third generation involves Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis and Screening (PGD/PGS). It can screen for genetic disorders such as thalassemia, Down syndrome, and cat cry syndrome, ensuring a healthy conception.
