According to a survey based on tracking reports for 5,000 IVF babies at various age stages, the findings indicate that IVF babies are just as healthy as babies born through natural childbirth. There are no discernible differences in terms of physical health, psychological resilience, intelligence, or social development. With the continuous advancement of IVF technology, recent reports show that IVF babies tend to exhibit better overall qualities than naturally born babies. In terms of intelligence, approximately 45% of IVF babies achieve excellence. Moreover, the chances of having multiples (twins, triplets, etc.) are higher with IVF compared to natural pregnancy and childbirth. With the application of third-generation IVF techniques like PGD/PGS, the occurrence of congenital defects in IVF babies has notably decreased.
